86. Sinéad O'Connor, photograph by Albert Watson.
How do I love this, let me count the ways, and not just because I've met her. In Dublin, 1st June, 1995.
To quote from my diaries, again:
                              7:26pm
                                National Museum
                              Sinéad O'Connor.
                                I still can't believe this.
At the reception for the opening of the Viking Exhibition I have just met and spoken to Sinéad O'Connor, after being suddenly introduced to her by Barra [O'Donnabhain], as he's from Australia, and then me telling her that I have tickets to your concert, so I'll be seeing you tomorrow night as well. I'm trying madly not to look like a starstruck fool, which is exactly what I am at the moment.
Good, she replied, then murmured a bit, then bobbed.
Jesus Mother Mary. This is a truly Zen Moment.

                            Damn, didn't get her phone-number .. sigh .. |
