62. Wheat Silos, Brim

Heard about these when Fran Kelly spoke about them on Radio National one morning. According to the report, the four characters were unknown, an amalgam of rural types.

But, according to the proprietor of the Brim Hotel, from the left, they are Peter, Sam, Auntie Wyn, and Alan, all locals, and if I'd fronted up to the bar a few minutes earlier, I could have met Auntie Wyn herself.

Brim is about sixty kilometres north of Dimboola, which is roughly halfway between Melbourne and Adelaide.
